Venus and Regulus, Mars and Jupiter Meet July 22

Morning sky on Monday July 22 looking north-east as seen from Adelaide at 6:30 am local time in South Australia. Mars is near  Jupiter, with Mercury nearby. Similar views will be seen elsewhere at the equivalent local time (click to embiggen).Evening sky looking west as seen from Adelaide at 18:00 pm local time on Monday July 22. Venus is close to the bright star Regulus. Similar views will be seen elsewhere at the equivalent local times.  Click to embiggen.

Don't forget that tomorrow (July 22nd) we have two great conjunctions, morning and evening. In the mroning Jupiter and Mars are close, while in the evening Venus and st bright star Regulus (the brightest star in Leo) are close.

Should be good viewing if this rain ever stops, that is.
